Ursula von der Leyen și Roberta Metsola au sosit astăzi în Israel, pentru a-și exprima solidaritatea cu poporul israelian.

„Am sosit în Israel împreună cu președinta Parlamentului European pentru a ne exprima solidaritatea cu poporul israelian după teribilul atac terorist comis de Hamas”, a scris Von der Leyen pe Twitter.

„Am venit cu un gând de solidaritate după cel mai grav atac terorist pe care Israelul l-a suferit în ultimii ani. Teroarea nu va învinge. Modul în care răspundem contează. Putem și trebuie să oprim Hamas și trebuie să depunem toate eforturile pentru a diminua consecințele umanitare”, a scris și Metsola pe Twitter.

Într-o altă postare, președinta Parlamentului European a scris că „teroriștii Hamas nu reprezintă aspirațiile poporului palestinian, ci le împiedică”. „Hamas sunt teroriști. Ei nu reprezintă aspirațiile poporului palestinian, ci le împiedică. Brutalitatea lor nu poate fi niciodată justificată”, a scris ea.

Gheorghe Ionaș, fratele deputatului PAS Ilie Ionaș, a murit sâmbătă, 12 septembrie. Gheorghe Ionaș era director al unei companii de construcții.

Vestea a fost anunțată de fratele său, deputatul Ilie Ionaș, care a publicat un mesaj emoționant, însoțit de fotografii alături de Gheorghe. „Zbor lin spre ceruri, Gheorghe. Ai grijă de tata acolo sus”, a scris Ilie Ionaș.

Ulterior, și compania pe care o administra Gheorghe, a transmis un mesaj de condoleanțe:

„Cu profundă tristețe, echipa IMIX GROUP își exprimă sincerele condoleanțe în legătură cu trecerea în neființă a domnului director Gheorghe Ionaș. Plecarea sa lasă în urmă nu doar un gol imens în sufletele celor care l-au cunoscut, ci și o pierdere pentru întreaga echipă alături de care a muncit și a construit”, a transmis compania.
